What I find eye-catching in this Exhibition of urban landscapes by Graciela Ieger is that without allowing herself no poetic licenses she can show us those scenes with an unique style, corresponding her incredible personality. That sensibility allows her to get the figures in any corner, prosaic things such as buses or cars that by being captured with this seriousness from the clasic poet bring us plenty of esthetic satisfaction, and thus ethics.

Ingres used to say that we should be serious about art, for it not to abandon us.   It is this seriousness that does not exclude the unique colour range of her palette. Fond of lights and the orange tones, it leads to infatuation of the watcher.
